“Everything is close” – Agent confirms Chelsea are close to sign next big wonder kid attacking midfielder

This transfer window has already seen a few significant surprises, particularly at Chelsea.

Carney Chukwuemeka’s signing virtually came out of thin air, and it wasn’t even covered by the media until Chelsea announced that they had struck an agreement with Aston Villa to sign the midfielder.

Late Friday night, a rumor from Gianluca Di Marzio claimed Chelsea had made a signing offer to Dynamo Moscow for Arsen Zakharyan.

Even though Chelsea’s interest wasn’t previously known, his representative is now even confirming that Chelsea is almost ready to sign him.

As reported on Russian website Sports RU,  Pavel Andreev, Zakharyan’s agent said: “It’s true. Everything is close.”

It goes to show that if a club, a player, or a anyone else wants to keep a transfer quiet until the final stages, then they absolutely will.

Zakharyan is a 19-year-old attacking midfielder and many see him as the next big wonder kid coming through.
