FIFA president finally reveals when football will resume

The FIFA president Gianni Infantino has revealed that he had no idea when football around the globe will resume.

Football in most parts of Europe has been suspended since early March, and the Premier League had conceded that they’d resume on April 30. However, that date seems very unlikely as the coronavirus pandemic wages on.

Meanwhile, Infantino has admitted he has no idea when football will resume, admitting that football is not the most important thing at the moment, and that the sport will be different when everything returns to normalcy.

“We all wish that we could have football tomorrow but unfortunately it’s not possible and nobody in the world today knows when we will be able to play like before,” FIFA boss Gianni Infantino told South American football chiefs via video link as cited by BeIN Sports.

“Our world and our sport is going to be different when we return to normality. We have to make sure that football survives and that it can prosper once again.

“For the first time, football is not the most important thing! Health comes first and must continue until this disease is defeated.”
