The 21 year old attacking midfielder has reportedly told Bayer Leverkusen that he intends to leave the German club for Chelsea this summer.
However, According to German outlet Kicker via the Sun, Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz has made the decision to move to Stamford Bridge this summer ahead of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Bayer Leverkusen want Chelsea to pay £90 million for the transfer of Havertz but they are reportedly willing to accept the fee in instalments.
Bayer Leverkusen chief Rudi Voller has confirmed an agreement is in place for Havertz to leave.
He said: “We have an agreement – if it fits, he can go this summer.”
The German midfielder has wowed fans in the Bundesliga this campaign after netting 18 goals and providing nine assists – helping his club to a top five finish.
