Former Chelsea player returns to Cobham, as Blues submit bid for Torino defender valued at £42.6m
For many Chelsea employees, the summer break has been brief and sweet. I’m unsure if new owner Todd Boehly has even had a break yet.
John Terry’s vacation is finished as well, and he is back at Cobham today to resume his job as a young ambassador.
Prior to posting the one below via Instagram stories, he posted the one below on his Twitter account. He appears to be eager to get back to work and appears to be quite delighted to be back in the action.

Chelsea have reportedly submitted a bid for Serie A outfits, Torino centre-back, Gleison Bremer.
The West London juggernauts, who lost both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen for free, are searching for defensive reinforcements during the current summer transfer window.
Additionally, there is uncertainty around the futures of Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta, both of whom have been linked to a move to La Liga powerhouse Barcelona.
Jules Kounde of Sevilla is reportedly the top center back on the Blues’ wishlist, although Thomas Tuchel is rumored to seek more than one defensive signing, and a Brazilian defender is another player on his radar.
In an effort to outbid their rivals for the services of the 25-year-old defender, the Blues have reportedly submitted a “important proposal,” according to transfer analyst Gianluca di Marzio.
Tottenham Hotspur, a rival team from London, has reportedly expressed interest in Bremer on numerous occasions. Serie A powerhouse Inter Milan is also thought to be interested.
Inter, however, is unwilling to pay Torino’s £42.6 million asking price and to include Cesare Casadei in the transaction.
However, Bremer himself has maintained that he intends to leave Torino, despite the report suggesting that the Blues have now gained an advantage in the hunt for his services.
The Brazilian told ESPN Brasil: “I told the coach and the management [last summer] ‘I want to change now’. So they told me: ‘Stay this year, help us. Next year you can take the next step’.
“The fans already know that I have this desire to play in the Champions League, to go there to earn a call-up to the Brazilian national team.
“I need to play at a much better level, so I think it’s a matter of time. I’m analysing some proposals, but I think that next season I will no longer play for Torino.”
