Free signing to happen? Tuchel told £200k-a-week Chelsea target ‘will leave’ Club

According to reports, Chelsea might sign Memphis Depay from Barcelona this summer for a cheap price.

Lionel Messi’s departure from Barcelona left the team in ruins since they primarily relied on his goals, and as soon as he departed, there was a hole and a shortage of goals.

However, The Dutchman Memphis Depay was brought in to fill the void left by the Argentine, but his tenure with the team has been hampered by injuries and his inconsistency in front of goal.

As a result, there has been media speculation that Barcelona manager Xavi is now amenable to the notion of allowing the attacker depart during the transfer window, with the Premier League being one possible destination for his return.

And because Frenkie de Jong isn’t prepared to change his stance on moving to Chelsea and Manchester United, Barca president Joan Laporta has had to get creative with how he sells players. He might not let Depay depart for free this summer.

With Robert Lewandowski’s arrival appearing to mark the end of the Dutch international’s stint in the Spanish capital, Oscar Mingueza, who recently completed his move to Celta Vigo, appears set to be the next player out the door.

Spanish journalist Ferran Martinez has updated with his latest tweet: “Everything indicates that Memphis will leave. All parties are now searching for a new club, as the player knows he won’t get minutes here.”

Should Chelsea sign him?
