Frustrated Jules Kounde makes another ‘Shocking’ decision to force Chelsea move in January as Blues fans reacted
According to reports, the France international was unhappy with the Spanish side for failing to sell him to Chelsea and refused to answer calls from Sevilla director of football Monchi or his manager Julen Lopetegui.
Kounde’s frustration from the failed move to Chelsea appeared to boil over onto the pitch last Wednesday as he was sent off for France in their World Cup qualifier against Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Kounde’s next move was to send a cryptic message to his club as he tweeted after his failed move to Chelsea: “You know the price of everything but the value of nothing.”
His post attracted comments from fans of both Sevilla and Chelsea as they believed he was aiming his frustration at Sevilla.
Kounde would eventually tell everyone to chill claiming that he simply posted a line from the track Love All with Jay-Z.
Jules Kounde has now taken the next step of frustration as he has taken off Sevilla from his Instagram bio. His Instagram bio had previously contained a link to Sevilla’s official account. On Sunday, Chelsea fans spotted there was no mention of the Spanish club there.
On Monday, the Frenchman reverted his bio and now it features Sevilla again.
Chelsea fans now seem divided over the young defender, with some claiming that he’s full of drama while others supported his actions.
Below are some reactions from Chelsea fans
darkerebus: “I know he’s good and all, but that kind of behavior isn’t what we want in our team”
EcoSoco: “We really need to get this guy in January. End his suffering.”
phoenixform369: “I gotta say this all just makes him seem super unprofessional. Hilarious though”
RSLDN8: “I mean this doesn’t reflect well on him at all? When Musonda was deleting his accounts and posting subs you guys were all over him to grow up and move on.
“Same energy for Kounde, if you’re that good then we’ll come back for you lol. Just ball on the pitch and act professional now.”
NB0608sd: “Kounde has every right to be pissed. Deal was basically in place and then Sevilla thought about it and was like “Actually, nah”. We shifted Zouma out for him too”
