Full Chelsea squad available to face Aston Villa clash confirmed!
Chelsea will be going in search of a quick response to Boxing Day’s disappointing 3-1 defeat to Arsenal when they welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge this teatime, kick-off 5:30pm.
However, The Blues boss will definitely be without winger Hakim Ziyech for the sixth game in a row in all competitions as he continues to recover from a hamstring problem.
Ziyech, though, is Chelsea’s only certain absentee for the clash with Dean Smith’s side, who will arrival in the capital unbeaten in their last four matches without conceding a goal.
Though the Moroccan is the only player Lampard will be without this evening, the Chelsea chief is expected to rotate his pack, meaning the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Jorginho, who missed a late penalty at the Emirates Stadium, Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud could all claim starting berths.
