Gilmour sends message to Pulisic after latest incident, as £80 million winger tells Chelsea he’s ready’ for big move
Billy Gilmour has had a week he will never forget.
On Wednesday, less than 24 hours after the 2-1 win over Leicester City that boosted Chelsea’s top-four hopes, the wonderkid was named in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for the upcoming European Championships. (Euro 20/21)
However, Following the new international recognition, it would appear that the 19-year-old is riding a wave of momentum.
As expected, Gilmour was involved in the Chelsea training session on Friday ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
And, as revealed in the Instagram image below, he also ‘ruined’ Christian Pulisic’s day.
It’s unclear as to exactly what happened between the pair, but Gilmour responded with a two-word message that read: “Sorry Broski” with a smiley face emoji.
Not only have some of Gilmour’s Chelsea teammates congratulated him on the Scotland squad announcement but some of his Premier League rivals have done the same.
Leicester City and England star James Maddison reached out on Instagram and said “Well done brother” with a clapping emoji.
Furthermore, West Ham’s Declan Rice said: “Love it geeza.”

Zaha has delivered a personal-best return of 11 goals this season, taking him to 68 in total for Palace while also laying on 72 assists across 392 appearances for the Eagles.
His performances over the past few seasons has led to constant speculation that the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are all ready to try and get a deal done in the coming transfer window.
And Zaha has made no secret of the fact that he wants to test himself at the highest level, with that stance reiterated when telling The Face: “I feel like I can have another shot at the top teams, because my dream is to win things.
“I’m good enough to go out there and compete with the best.
“If the opportunity came, I wouldn’t turn it down, because I feel like I deserve it. It’s so I can show my kids: ’This is what daddy won’.”
“I’m 28, but my career’s still hot. “People thought I was done: going to Man United and that not working out, me going to Cardiff.
“But I’ve gone back to Palace, restarted my career, and I’ve stayed relevant and hot throughout this time.
