However, Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has told injured Tammy Abraham that he needs him fit again for the Blues so there can be a good competition among Chelsea strikers.
“I don’t know how long Tammy will be out for to be honest,” Giroud said.
“When he comes back I will need him to be ready and then we can have a good competition again, which will be good for the team.”
With no date set for Abraham’s return, Giroud is set to remain first-choice for the near future and his confidence has been building game by game.
