With his previous contract about to expire this summer, Paris Saint-Germain were in danger of losing Kylian Mbappe, 23, for free.
Mbappe had been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but a better contract offer from PSG has seen him prolong his stay at the Parc des Princes until 2025.
Following speculations that the Brazilian international could leave Parc des Princes, Chelsea fans are clamoring for the new club leadership to recruit PSG sensation Neymar.
According to sources, Mbappe and Neymar do not have the best of ties because they are both attempting to be the club’s big man.
Following Mbappe’s admission that he called the Brazilian striker a “bum” during a Ligue 1 encounter last year, the two have had a rocky relationship, and for Chelsea fans, signing Neymar would be the best bargain ever.
