Hazard breaking! Chelsea to go beyond £400,000-a-week and get £100m superstar signed up

Chelsea are hopeful they can keep hold of star man Eden Hazard during the summer transfer window, amid speculation that Real Madrid are keen on a transfer deal.

Hazard is in the best form of his career this season and has stepped up his game for Maurizio Sarri’s side in their quest to get back into the top four and play Champions League football next season, which is something owner Roman Abramovic wanted when he hired the Italian last summer.

However, there has been a lot of speculation in the media that Hazard will be looking to leave at the end of the season and get his dream move to La Liga with Madrid, with all indications suggesting that the Belgian has made up his mind already to leave when the Spaniards make an offer.

But with the club facing a big transfer ban after the summer transfer window, LE10Sport have claimed that Chelsea are hopeful that Hazard will sign a new contract at the club and stay beyond the summer, with reports they are prepared to make him one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.

Hazard has already failed to sign the £350,000-a-week contract offer that Chelsea have placed on the table, but with the Blues desperate to get their star man signed up, reports indicate that they may be willing to go well above the £400,000-a-week mark to end all speculation.

Here is what we think on the future of Hazard.

A lot has been said over the past few months about his future as it has mainly dominated the headlines for Chelsea, and even though he has made up his mind about what he would like to do in the summer, no one knows what he has planned in the coming weeks.

But Madrid do have other transfer targets and if they seal a deal for Neymar of Kylian Mbappe, then Hazard will have no choice but to stay and sign a new contract. He is the clubs main man and they should do all they can to get his signature signed, especially with the transfer ban looming.
