‘He does not listen’- Tuchel slammed Chelsea player for ignoring his tactical instruction against Everton
Chelsea continued our good form under Thomas Tuchel on Monday night by beating Everton 2-0 to remain in the top four.
During the game against Everton, Tuchel was heard berating Timo Werner on the touchline for ignoring a basic instruction over his positional play.
Callum Hudson-Odoi played as a left inside-forward, Kai Havertz as a false nine and Werner as a right inside-forward.
Tuchel was unhappy that Werner kept drifting over to the left – occupying the position Hudson-Odoi was playing.
Tuchel was heard shouting: “Timo, how long are you staying on the left? You’re playing on the right! The last fifteen minutes you’ve only been on the left! Don’t you understand?”
