“He has got character, Tuchel have to manage that” – as Hasselbaink sends Chelsea player message to Tuchel
Following Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has hailed Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech and also send message to Tuchel on how to handle his character.
However, the Chelsea wizard opened the scoring with a stunning effort from range two minutes into the second-half as Chelsea sealed a 2-0 win over London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
Hasselbaink told Sky Sports: “He has a temperamental player, he is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve,”
‘But he has got character and you have got to be able to manage that (Tuchel). That happens with good players and he is one of them.” He said.
Furthermore, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has also hailed Ziyech’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur as one of his best for Chelsea.
“Maybe it was his best game, it was a very good game overall,” Tuchel said of Ziyech.
“He took the risk where it was possible, he was safe when it was possible to be safe.
“It’s probably the best position for him, we don’t normally have this position in a 3-4-3. The overlap gave him the space and the strike was brilliant.”
