‘He loves to play with him, Chelsea is a better place for him’ – Saha says of £89m Manchester Utd player

Former Manchester United and France striker Louis Saha has expressed his regret for not seeing Paul Pogba at his prime at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba joined Manchester United for a Premier League record sum of £89 million, but he only showed flashes of his brilliance at the club.

When playing for France, though, the World Cup winner appears to be a world-class talent.

Pogba would fit in nicely at Chelsea, according to Saha, especially with N’Golo Kante on the team.

Saha told Lord Ping: “Chelsea is the obvious match for Pogba because he loves to play with N’Golo Kante.”

“We always try to compare what he does with France and United and the ability of Kante makes Pogba play to another dimension and that’s the truth.

“Only Pogba can indicate where he wants to go, I’m just sad he hasn’t fulfilled his dream.”
