However, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has admitted he loves watching Chelsea forward Kai Havertz play.
Havertz’s brilliant goal against Newcastle United on Sunday has seen Ferdinand compare the Chelsea forward to former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.
The former United defender Ferdinand told BT Sport: “The streets liven up when you see goals like that. It is like a Berbatov, Robin van Persie touch, how slick it is, velcro vibes on the edge of his toe and an exquisite finish. I love watching him play.”
Havertz has scored 11 goals and notched five assists so far this campaign and has been preferred ahead of Romelu Lukaku as Chelsea’s no.9 in recent weeks.
