‘He plays like Ronaldo ‘He’s better than most of our attackers’ – Fans reacted to reports Chelsea wants to sign 24-year-old attacker

According to reports, Chelsea is debating whether to pursue Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford on a free transfer.

The 24-year-current old’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, but fans are quite divided on whether he would be a positive addition to the team on Twitter:

Rashford’s stint at Old Trafford might be extended by another season, as one fan notes, making it highly unlikely that he would leave on his own terms in the summer of 2019.

But even if he were available, the Blues ought to pause before thinking about signing the England international. Although he has had a solid start to the campaign, he was in poor form not long ago.

Rashford was removed from the international team as a result of his meager five goals in the entire previous season. You can bet that United will exercise their option to extend his contract even if he does well in the upcoming months and participates in the World Cup. This story is probably not worth further consideration.

@anikoko5050: I hope this isn’t true

@CFCSaddle:What a player he is

@hereagainnnn: This is why I dislike football breaks give media the chance to link everybody to everybody

@ikefi: Rashford on a free sounds good to me

@OfficialBowale:There is an option to extend his contract for another year which they are likely to do soon.

@cfcballf: It has already started, we are becoming United 2.0

@AnangAlain: I’ll take him everyday of the week, his loss of form is usually temporal, but when he’s on it, he’s Ronaldo-esque kind of a player

@chelseaktbffh83: Hes better than most of our attackers

@Delack7: No we don’t want him

@ceo_hajji: I can get behind that
