‘He ruled out Manchester United days ago’ – Romano confirms player wants Chelsea move
Chelsea are still looking to tie up a few more new signings before the transfer window ends at the end of this month.
But with time ticking on now, it really is action time for the club if they are to get some of these deal attempts over the line.
A defender is a priority, as well as a new striker, as per the latest general reports. And Thomas Tuchel wants to work again with one of his former players, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, who he coached at Dortmund.
Tuchel wants a goal-scorer, and the current Barcelona forward is his man. Yesterday though, news of Manchester United interest came out, but Blues fans have nothing to be concerned about there, according to Fabrizio Romano.
He says that there have been no negotiations between Aubameyang and United as things stand. The striker is focused on the Chelsea bid and wants Champions League football. There will be new direct contacts today to discuss personal terms.
