“He thinks that too, He wants a new step” – Mino Raiola speaks on £63m-rated Chelsea transfer target
January transfer window is in few weeks as the Blues will be looking forward to add some players to the squad.
However, Agent Mino Raiola has claimed that Chelsea transfer target Matthijs de Ligt is open to leaving Juventus.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen on strengthening Chelsea’s defence ahead of the January transfer window and De Ligt is reportedly one of Chelsea’s targets.
De Ligt joined Juventus from Ajax in the summer of 2019 for a fee €75million (£63m) after helping Ajax reach the Champions League semi-finals in the 2018-19 season.
Juventus are currently struggling in the Serie A and Raiola claims his client, De Ligt, wants a fresh challenge.
Raiola told Dutch newspaper NRC via Daily Mail: “(De Ligt) is ready for a new step… he thinks that too.”
