He will score 50 goals for Chelsea – Roy Keane believes Chelsea should sign £67m rated outstanding player
Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United has been linked to a move to Chelsea, and the legendary player of football understands where the goal is.
At the age of 37, Ronaldo continued to play a significant role in Manchester United’s season and finished the season with 24 goals in 38 games for a Manchester United team that was having trouble.
Chelsea was without a goal scorer last season, and the Blues have been without one for a while.
While this was going on, United legend Roy Keane made a big prediction about Ronaldo joining this Chelsea team.
In an April 1-1 tie between Chelsea and Manchester United, Ronaldo scored Manchester United’s equalizer with his one and only opportunity in a match that Chelsea utterly controlled.
Roy Keane said after the game: “He [Ronaldo] is outstanding.
“It’s the hardest part of the game, putting the ball in the back of the net. That was his only chance tonight. You see the chances Chelsea were creating.
“Imagine if he was in the Chelsea team, he’d probably get 50 goals. He’s in a poor United side who aren’t creating many chances for him and he is still producing.”
Thomas Tuchel had also he’s an admirer of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking about the Portuguese star before facing Juventus last season, he said: “Time will tell, but it isn’t a secret that any team in the world without Cristiano is in some parts of the game a weaker team.
“He is one of the greatest who has ever played this game and he proves it every time he is on the field.
“Now [Ronaldo is] in the Premier League and in the Champions League, so [Juventus] lost a big champion, a big point of reference and a big personality.
“But you can win games and be a strong team without Cristiano Ronaldo. This is also true.”
