According to Kia Joorabchian, the agent of Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, the Brazilian will love to play in the Premier League amid reports linking him with a summer move to Chelsea.
Chelsea are reportedly leading the race to sign the Brazilian and the latest comments by his agent will give the Blues a huge boost.
The 27-year-old made the switch from Liverpool to Barcelona for an eye-watering £142million in January 2018 but has failed to live up to expectations at the Nou Camp.
He spent this season loan at Bayern Munich but the Germans have opted against taking up the option to buy him.
“We’re still waiting until the season finishes before we start talking about anything in terms of transfers,” he told talkSPORT amid reports linking Coutinho with Chelsea.
“I’ve always said that he loves to play in the Premier League.
“He enjoyed his time very much and if the opportunity arises to come back to the Premier League, whether it be this year or in the future, he’s definitely looking at that.”
