‘He’s absolutely greedy, imagine this massive Chelsea offer’ – Simon Jordan blasted latest departing Chelsea player
Chelsea would lose Antonio Rudiger for free at the end of the season, with Thomas Tuchel also confirming that the German international would be leaving for free.
However, Chelsea have been blamed for not being able to reach an agreement with Rudiger before the sanctions were hit on the club, but talkSPORT host Simon Jordan has blasted Rudiger and his agent for being greedy.
Meanwhile, According to Simon, the terms from Rudiger and his agent were outrageous.
Simon was commenting based on reports that Chelsea matched Rudiger’s wage demands, but his representatives wanted a signing-on fee worth more than £10million, and also £10m in agents fees, and a bigger salary for Rudiger.
“He was into his last year, not because of a fall-out with Lampard, he was into his last year with his mate [Thomas] Tuchel,” the talkSPORT co-host said on White and Jordan.
“And if Tuchel wanted him, he could have perhaps done a deal with him last summer before all these restrictions came on.
“Have a look at the conditions, are you looking at some of the conditions they [Rudiger and his representatives] want?
“200-grand-a-week, which by the way is outrageous amounts of money.
“He wants a £10million sign on, he wants his gastly, wretched, ‘eugh’ agent 10million-quid.
“This is madness. Greed, it’s absolute greed.
“He’s going to Real Madrid because he’s greedy, end of discussion. Good riddance.”
