‘He’s useless since the season started’ ‘drop him the next game’ ‘consistently poor’ – Chelsea fans begs Tuchel to drop £150,000k a-week Chelsea star against  Leicester

This Saturday, when the Blues host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will resume play.

The Blues, though, will be eager to resume their winning ways following their stunning 3-0 loss to Leeds the previous Saturday.

Before the match against Leicester, Chelsea forward Kai Havertz faced a lot of backlash following the team’s 3-0 loss to Leeds the previous weekend, and Chelsea supporters have urged Tuchel to bench the German international.

Although the German international was not the only poor performer, Thomas Tuchel’s decision to leave him on for the full 90 minutes left many supporters on Twitter baffled:

Havertz has not had a great start to the season. While, in previous campaigns, his poor form has been masked by others (such as Romelu Lukaku) also struggling, he is the main man up front now and criticism has begun to mount up.

There are legitimate questions to ask about whether Tuchel’s system actually hinders the ability of Blues’ forward players. Havertz is not the only one to find things difficult, but you do expect a lot more from a player who is now in his third season at Chelsea.

Barring his goal in the Champions League final, it is hard to find many other standout moments during his time at Stamford Bridge so far and that is seriously disappointing considering he is the second most expensive player in the club’s history.

Below are some Chelsea fans reactions to drop the German man:

@ObviouslyCFC: When hasn’t he been useless? I am sick and tired of watching him.

@dey_puspak: The only positive is that there is a chance of him getting dropped the next game! N not just today, he has been consistently poor!

@Diran_Aji): Can’t remember the last time he was useful….

@mukhtaary281: which position is he suited? That guys is just below average, he’s the only chelsea attacker i’m not confident he can dribble a player successfully.

@Itsyungkell: Havertz is one of reason we lost that game tbh..it was like Chelsea was short of a player and then Mendy error..

@Vancho666_CFC: Havertz is useless since the season started. This isn’t his first bad performance.

@chelsearob14: When’s that £70m potential kicking in by the way? 3 years he’s been with us and tbh I’ve seen nothing….
