“I have always said he’s is a curse for us!” Lots of Chelsea Fans blast star player after another poor performance.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was in the headlines once again during Chelsea’s 3-3 draw with Southampton on Saturday. And as usual, he was in the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Chelsea were on course for a second win in a row after defeating Crystal Palace by goals to nothing before the international break.

A Timo Werner brace and Kai Havertz goal looked to have secured the three points for the Blues and spare Kepa’s error, only for Jannik Vestergaard to pop up with an injury time equalizer. Kepa Arrizabalaga was making his return to the Blues eleven in almost a month as new signing Edouard Mendy missed out with a thigh injury.

Timo Werner opened the scoring through a fine individual display, skipping pass Jan Bednarek on the turn, the Chelsea number eleven cuts inside the box before unleashing a powerful shot beyond the goalkeeper.

The 2-0 lead was halved before the break when Southampton pounced after robbing Kai Havertz deep in the Blues half. Ings latches onto the through ball, rounded Kepa and slotted into an empty net.

In the second half, Kepa and Zouma we involved in a miscommunication and Southampton drew level. Havertz turned a short pass from Werner to put Chelsea in front for the second time in the games two minutes.

A free kick was only half-cleared and Walcott lashed a strike goalwards with Vestergaard applying the decisive touch. With little time left to play, the game ended 3-3 with both side sharing the points.

Fans has since been expressing how disappointed they are especially with Kepa’s performance. See some of the reactions:
