I prefer you to join them – Poland boss tells Lewandowski which Premier League club he should join

After 8 years at Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski has revealed that his time at Bayern Munich is up and he’s ready to join any club.

However, Speaking at a press conference ahead of Poland’s UEFA Nations League game against Wales, the 33-year-old said: “What we know for sure at the moment is that my era in Bayern Munich is over.

“I don’t see any possibility to continue my career in this club, based on what we could see in the last couple of weeks. Bayern are a serious club so I hope they won’t keep me just because they can.”

Lewandowski has been linked with a move to some of Europe’s top sides this summer, including Chelsea.

However, the Polish national team manager, Czeslaw Michniewicz, has revealed that he would prefer Lewandowski to join Liverpool.

When asked about the Lewandowski’s future at the same press conference, Michniewicz said: “I’d like to see Lewandowski at Liverpool since I’m a supporter of the club.”

Lewandowski and Jurgen Klopp worked together during their time at Borussia Dortmund, and it’s yet to be seen if Liverpool would be interested in the deal.
