‘I promised him I would score against Leicester’- Rudiger finally reveals who he dedicated his goal to after Chelsea 3-0 win
The Blues confidently trash Leicester city 3-0 on Saturday afternoon as the Blues remain top of the league.
However, following this victory, Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger opened the scoring for Chelsea in their 3-0 win with a looping header from Chilwell’s excellent cross.
The German opened up on his goal after the game, talking to Chelsea’s 5th Stand App.
He said: “I felt confident going into this game and I promised my son that I would score, definitely, and I did.
“It is good and I helped the team, it was a very good performance.”
A lot of the post-match talk has revolved around Rudiger, with Tuchel insisting that the club and the team want him to stay at Chelsea.
