“I think he’s a good player, I like him.” – Darren Bent surprised Lampard didn’t give Chelsea player playing time
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent has revealed he’s surprised Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori didn’t get a chance under Frank Lampard this season.
The 23 year old England defender is set to leave Chelsea on loan this January after making just three appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season.
“I like Tomori, I think he’s a good defender,” Bent said to talkSPORT.
“I thought he would have got more of an opportunity at Chelsea. But, unfortunately, he didn’t.
“As long as he gets himself back out there and starts playing regular football. I think he will benefit from that.”
