The Kai Havertz transfer saga continues, and today sees reports of the player himself getting involved in the deal.
Chelsea are looking to put the final stages of negotiations to bed and seal the deal to sign the 21-year old midfielder. All that is left now is to finalise the structure of the deal and the add on payments, which should not present a problem for Chelsea.
Especially when Havertz has once again gone to his club and asked them to hurry the deal along because he is eager to begin training with his new team mates.
This is according to the reliable insider Jan Aage Fjortoft, who put out a couple of tweets reporting the very latest on this deal today.
Chelsea will hope to now reach an agreement about the instalments, then get the deal announced as soon as possible so that they can start preparing for their new season that is fast approaching now.
Re: Havertz @SPORTBILD today
Havertz has told his Leverkusen-bosses:
