“I will never judge someone like that” – PSG boss fires strong response to Tuchel
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is seemingly happy with his time at the club and the cordial relationship he enjoys with Chelsea.
However, within a short time, Tuchel has already proven he’s the man for the job after guiding Chelsea to the Champions League crown last season.
He led his former club Paris Saint-Germain to the Champions League final two seasons ago but was axed at the end of that campaign.
The German recently criticised his former employers, claiming that he was annoyed with managing the families of his superstar players since he felt more like a prime minister of sport than a manager.
Current PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino has now responded to Thomas Tuchel’s comment.
During Mauricio Pochettino’s press conference, the media asked the Argentine if he feels the same way managing PSG as his predecessor.
“I am a person who has a lot of respect for everything. I have a culture and an education of respect. I will never venture to judge someone until I know them, like clubs. I have known PSG for 20 years, and also for ten months,” Pochettino said.
“I will not give my opinion on how my predecessor felt. I only speak from my experience.
My job is to coach to make technical decisions with my staff. The club recruited me to train the 33 players to define a playing philosophy. The field is my responsibility.”
