“I Will remain at Chelsea beyond January”- Chelsea player reveals
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has been left frustrated in the Chelsea squad after Chelsea boss Frank Lampard dropped him for Kurt Zouma.
However, the German international has been tipped to leave Chelsea in January, either on loan or in a permanent move.
Meanwhile, with Fikayo Tomori close to leaving Chelsea this January, Rudiger has suggested he could remain at the club beyond the January transfer window.
Rudiger is currently third choice centre-back at Chelsea and while he wants to play more, the 27-year-old may not be allowed to go if Tomori gets a loan move first.
Lampard will be short of options at the back if Tomori and Rudiger are both allowed to leave Chelsea in January.
With Rudiger’s contract expiring in 2022, the German international will push for an exit in the summer if his situation at Chelsea doesn’t change.
