“I will sign him if I was working for Chelsea” – Club director reveals player he would like Chelsea to sign
Sabatini is an Italian former football player turned director of football, who most recently served as Global Sporting Director for Bologna FC and CF Montreal.
However, Walter Sabatini has admitted he’s a big fan of Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala and would sign the Argentine star if he was working for Chelsea.
He told Tuttosport: “If I went to a great European club, let’s say Chelsea for example, I would immediately try to take Dybala. Someone will say that he is not made for the Premier, but the truth is that he is made for football.”
On Adrien Rabiot, Sabatini also said: “I respect everyone’s opinion, but it’s rash to say he’s poor or mediocre. For me he is very strong, with one flaw: when he plays badly you notice, many others go unnoticed.”
