“I will try my best way“ – Manager vows to use 21-year-old Chelsea player rightly
Chelsea supporters have been assured by Spezia manager Luca Gotti that he will take after Ethan Ampadu this season and use him appropriately.
Ampadu, who is highly regarded within the club, has spent the last three years honing his game while on loan.
Ampadu spent past season playing for the Italian team Venezia. There were hopes that Ampadu might play for Chelsea this season, but he signed a season-long loan agreement with Spezia.
Since Chelsea is very interested in this loan, the Serie A team has been told to play Ampadu as a center-back rather than a defensive midfielder or wing-back.
Luca Gotti, manager of Spezia, has now committed to utilize Ampadu properly.
“Chelsea think he is a great prospect. I will try to employ him in the best way,” Citta Della Spezia report him saying.
“Tomorrow he will be available, I am confident of using him and playing him on the defensive line.
“It wasn’t so much with Tuchel that there was a talk about it, it was and is with the club in general.”
