“If I’m going to war I’m taking him with me”, “Forget Gordon” – Fans begs Todd Boehly to sign £30m attacker
Chelsea still wants to bolster their assault before the summer transfer window closes, but their £45 million offer for Anthony Gordon from Everton was turned down.
Meanwhile, Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace is being recommended to Chelsea as a better option.
Given that he only has a little more than a year left on his deal with Crystal Palace, the 29-year-old could be had for £30 million.
However, Zaha is at the height of his career and has demonstrable Premier League experience. The former Manchester United forward, who has long served as Crystal Palace’s focal point, is now prepared to advance.
On Monday night, Zaha hurt Liverpool in a 1-1 tie, and Yannick Bolasie, a former star of Crystal Palace, has praised Zaha as a quality player.
Bolasie wrote on Twitter: “Zaha is one of the big boys in the prem…don’t let anyone tell you any different, the quality & fight he brings for palace is something special, if I’m going to war I’m taking him with me.”
Chelsea have had little links with Zaha this summer, but Blues fans are now asking the club to sign up the Ivorian international.

@TOSOTC_CFC: What a sensational counterattack from Crystal Palace!! Clinical movement and passing!! And what a finish from Zaha!! Get him to Chelsea!!
@Mxdiano: Zaha on the counter and as a wide or central outlet, you can’t tell me Chelsea having him in the ranks is a net negative.
@Vintage_Cfc: Zaha will be unreal signing for Chelsea. Premier league proven and only £25m. Make it happen
