“If not because of him, Chelsea could have beat us” – Burnley boss finally reveals who stopped Chelsea from winning against them

Following Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Burnley, Burnley boss Sean Dyche admitted that the 1-1 draw between Chelsea and Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday claims that the Blues were all over Burnley in the first half.

However, The Burnley coach Dyche has hailed Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope for making great saves to deny Chelsea and ensure the Blues didn’t score a second goal that our dominance deserved.

“The lads worked terrifically hard. They’re a top side. They were all over us in the first half. We hung in there really, great saves by Nick Pope. Dyche told BBC Sport:

“We felt the game might calm slightly and we found better moments in the second half.

“When you come to these clubs and they’re flying like they are, you might need your keeper to play well. He was fantastic.

“I can’t credit Chelsea enough. They’re a top outfit. You stay in it for a chance.”
