Chelsea target Orkun Kokcu has insisted he will only plan a move away from Feyenoord when it feels right.
Chelsea are getting ready for the re-start of the Premier League season (when it officially resumes), but that has not stopped speculation linking the club with a number of players.
The Turkish international is rated at £23million after an impressive season before the coronavirus stopped football, and is heavily tipped to make a big move in the summer if his asking price is met.
However, amid all the speculation Kokcu has opened up and told the likes of Chelsea he will only plan a move away from Feyenoord when it feels right.
Kokcu told Dutch outlet Rijnmond: “When the moment arrives, and I feel good about it, we’ll see.
“I want to make the best of it next season and want to be as fit as possible when the competition starts again. For now I’m only working with Feyenoord. I have a contract until 2023, so I’m not in a hurry.”
“It doesn’t really matter to me, frankly. My father and my agent are busy with that. “I try to isolate myself from that. That works fine. Fortunately, I am a footballer and not an agent.”
Chelsea will be looking to do a bit more business in the summer window and no-one really knows how many more players Frank Lampard will seek to bring in, but for that £23 million that Kokcu is going for, he could be seen as a good move to make.
