Chelsea set to agree a deal for Algerian first team

Chelsea have been reported to be monitoring a summer move for Brentford playmaker Said Benrahma.

Chelsea who had just sealed a deal with Ajax star Hakim Ziyech, and just agreed terms with the signing of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig in the recent week, have been reported to also be planning a summer move for Championship star Said Benrahman as per The Guardian.

The Algerian has been superb for his Championship outfits this campaign scoring 10 goals and provided 8 assists across 34 games in the second tier, which has been a major boost for Brentford fourth position in the Championship table.

The Blues would however needs to face stiff competition from Premier League rival Arsenal, as it was also been reported the North London club are also monitoring the developments surrounding the 24 years old.

In other news, Chelsea have shown interest in the signature of German playmaker Kai Harvertz and Leceister City defender Ben Chiwell, as they continue their plight of improving their squad in being a major contender for European trophies next season.
