“In my eyes this is the best player” – Rio Ferdinand reveals who is better between Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham

“In my eyes this is the best player” – Rio Ferdinand reveals who is better between Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer is having a brilliant debut season at the club.

Palmer has scored 13 goals with 8 assists in 24 Premier League games. Interestingly, Cole Palmer has more league goal involvements (21) than Jude Bellingham this season.

Jude Bellingham has scored 16 goals and made 4 assists in the La Liga this season.

Despite Palmer’s impressive record, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand believes Cole Palmer is not anywhere close to Jude Bellingham in terms of quality.

He said: “I think it’s under 21 years old, he’s got the most goal involvements over Jude Bellingham in Europe. It’s a fact, he’s doing it, he’s doing it.

“I’m not saying he’s better than Jude. He’s nowhere near as good as Jude in my eyes.

“For every one goal that Jude scores, most other clubs it’s probably three or four goals it counts as, you know what I mean? Because it’s Bernabeu, it’s at the Bernabeu, it’s at Real. It’s different.”

Is Rio Ferdinand right, or do you think it’s clear bias?
