“In my time at Chelsea we don’t have such problem”: Fabregas finally reveals one Chelsea’s problem Chelsea must fix under Pochettino

Cesc Fabregas has shared his opinion on why Chelsea have seemed to struggle under Mauricio Pochettino.

Chelsea are in danger of missing out on European football for a second consecutive season after winning just nine Premier League games out of a possible 23.

The Blues have also conceded an awful lot of goals under Poch, and former Spain midfielder, Fabregas has now opined that it is down to the fact that the six-time league champions have not yet found their best 11, as well as the absence of a top striker.

“Chelsea Football Club demands results now no matter what,” he told BBC when asked about the state of his former club.

“And also, I think they have a responsibility for the fans, for their history over the last, what, 20, 25 years.

“I do think that Mauricio [Pochettino] is a really good coach, but it feels that they still haven’t found their 11. There is a lot of quality and a lot of talent, but they do need to find their best shape. It’s not all about tactics, but they do need to fit their best players in their best positions.

“They do lack a top striker. I mean Chelsea in the last years they’ve always had top strikers. Let’s remember the Drogbas, the Diego Costas, Anelkas, etc.

“You need someone to put the ball at the back of the net and they don’t really have this top, top player to make the difference in the end.”
