Giuseppe Marotta Inter Milan chief, has confirmed the Italian club is in talks with Chelsea over extending Victor Moses’ stay until the end of the season.
Moses joined Inter Milan on loan in January, which was to run until the end of June but the coronavirus pandemic has extended the season and Inter Milan want Moses to finish the delayed season, but they are yet to make a breakthrough in talks.
Inter Milan, who are third in the table, still have 10 Serie A games to play as they attempt to chase down Juventus and Lazio.
Marotta also confirmed they are also in talks with Manchester United to extend the loan deal of Alexis Sanchez until the end of the season.
Marotta told Sky Sports: “This is a great regulatory anomaly that needs to be resolved because we are still dealing with Chelsea and Manchester United today to try to extend their loans.
“It is not a beautiful thing. We are also dealing with Bayern Munich over Ivan Perisic.”
Moses would be unable to play for Chelsea this season if his loan deal with Inter Milan is not extended to cover the rest of the campaign.
