Chelsea have been strongly linked with a summer move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard keen on strengthening Chelsea’s attack.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City have also been linked with the Argentine striker.
Inter Milan legend and vice-president Javier Zanetti has responded to the interest in Martinez by insisting he is confident Martinez’s future lies at Inter.
“At Inter I see him happy, he identifies with the club,” Zanetti told ESPN.
“We believed in him. I see his future at Inter.”
Meanwhile, Martinez’s agent Beto Yaque has confirmed Chelsea have contacted him over the signing of Martinez.
“We don’t know what will happen, we pay attention to what the media say about it. It’s true that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and City called me, but we don’t know if they have any kind of agreement with Inter,” Yaque told Spanish news outlet Clarin.
