‘It can happen in a squad like this! Ancelotti gives Chelsea massive transfer boost after latest club decision
Eden Hazard left Chelsea for Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 after 7 years at Stamford Bridge but has struggled to make an impact in Spain due to injuries.
However, Chelsea have been linked with an Eden Hazard reunion in recent weeks following his struggles at Real Madrid.
Chelsea have now received a huge Hazard transfer boost after Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted that the Belgian has fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu as he currently prefers other players.
“Hazard is ready, but his problem right now is that he has a coach who prefers other players, which can happen in a squad like this one.” Ancelotti told MARCA
Hazard has found it hard this campaign to compete with Brazilian young guns Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, as well as Gareth Bale.
Vinicius in particular is having the season of his career so far, with seven goals already to his name and a handful of assists to boot.
Despite being into his thirties, the Blues still view Hazard as a quality player.
