‘It didn’t get any better! Tuchel confirms key Chelsea player is out of Norwich City clash
Following Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Burnley, Chelsea left-back Reece James was in action but was on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. The England International scored a goal and also make an assist.
However, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has stated that James is a major doubt for Thursday evening’s Premier League clash with Norwich.
Tuchel said on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s Premier League game against Norwich City: “Everybody was on the training pitch today except for Reece James, who has some muscular problems after his three games,”
“He has muscular problems in his other leg, not the previously injured leg, but he will still need some further assessment.
“He felt it during the match and it didn’t get any better. Today there will be further examinations. It’s obvious what he can give to our team, so it is not good news at the moment.”
