“It is always a war and we don’t like each other” – Pulisic finally reveals
Ahead of Friday’s World Cup qualifier, Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has spoken about the rivalry between USA and Mexico.
According to Pulisic, the USA-Mexico football rivalry is strong with both countries not liking each other.
“It is like every other rivalry, we don’t like each other and when the match starts everything becomes more tense on the pitch. The last two games are an example of that, it is always a war and even the tackles are harder.” Pulisic said.
When asked about the feeling of playing for the USA, Pulisic added: “It is an incredible feeling to play for my country and you have to work really hard to be part of the USMNT. Right now we are in a good spot and with time we could achieve great things as a team.”
