“It would be a massive loss – Chelsea receive strong Antonio Rudiger warning after latest decision
According to Former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson, Has warned Chelsea to do everything possible to make sure Rudiger doesn’t leave the club at the end of the season.
The German international is in the final year of his contract with the club, and German giants Bayern Munich are keen on signing him.
Rudiger was signed for a reported fee of £29 million from Roma back in 2017, but he’s now seen as one of the best defenders in the world based on current form.

Now 28, Rudiger earns around £100k a week, and wants more than double his wages, as reports claim he’s eyeing a deal of around £220k per week.
Rudiger is stalling on agreeing to a new deal as he knows this would be his last bumper package as a player before he goes into the 30s zone.
However, Former Blue Glen Johnson has now urged his former club to make sure they tie Rudiger down to a new deal, and he admitted that quality players aren’t so easy to find.
Johnson told BettingOdds: “It would be a loss,”
“He’s clearly revamped his Chelsea career under Thomas Tuchel and when he’s playing the way he has been then he’s a great asset to Chelsea, so if he was to go on a free contract then he will be missed.
“To find great players in form is hard to come by as we know, but from a business perspective as well, you can’t let top players leave for free.
“If he’s their best defender or not, letting a player leave on a free never makes sense.
“Whilst he’s playing like this, they should lock him down in my opinion.”
