Italian legend OFFICIALLY tells Chelsea fans that deal ‘is very close’ to being agreed
Fikayo Tomori’s loan move to AC Milan is ‘very close’ to being agreed, sporting director Paolo Maldini confirmed.
Tomori is a talent that was expected to be a massive part of the Chelsea pans this season, but the fact he has fallen down the pecking order at the club and not really been given a chance, he sought a move away from the club
And that alerted Italian giants AC Milan, who have been massive fans of the young man for a while now and have decided to make a loan move till the end of the season, with an option to make the transfer permanent for £27million.
And Milan club legend Maldini revealed a deal is near completion but warned one miss step could scupper plans entirely, He said: “It’s very close, we’re in between confirming his signing and not signing him at all, it could all break down with just one detail.
“We saw in him the quality to throw him into the mix with our current defenders, so that’s why we want him.”
We have said it before and we will say it again, it is a massive shame that Tomori is not able to make an impact on this Chelsea side, but at the end of the day, this is a massive opportunity for the lad to go to Italy and win Seria A, Milan are favourites to end the dominance by Juventus.
And if a move is permanent , it will be a massive loss for Chelsea to lose such a gifted player.
