Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly in talks with the agent of Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri ahead of a potential move to Turin when the summer’s transfer window will be re-opened.
Emerson has played 18 games for the Blues this campaign, however, has not taken part in any of his side’s last five Premier League games before the season has been suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to Italian top-tier in the recent months, with the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus both believed to be interested in a deal.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Italy international defender wants to secure a return to Serie A when the summer transfer window will be re-opened and his agent is currently in talks with Juventus over a potential deal.
The report suggests that the defender favours a move to Turin over Milan following to the presence of Maurizio Sarri in the managerial position.
The Italy international has joined the Blues from AS Roma back in January 2018 and has a deal in the English capital until the end of the 2021-22 season.
Marcos Alonso has been also tipped to depart from Stamford Bridge this summer and signing quality left-back could be a priority for Frank Lampard next season.
