“It’s very unusual, you can’t blame Jorginho” – Tuchel finally reveals who’s to blame for Sancho’s goal against Chelsea
As we all know Jadon Sancho scored for Manchester United against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge after Jorginho’s failure to control a long clearance from Bruno Fernandes.
However, The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel refused to blame Jorginho for the goal and instead blamed lights at Stamford Bridge.
“It’s very unusual, a mistake like this and to concede a goal like this for us in general, and especially with Jorgi,” Thomas Tuchel told the press after the United draw about Sancho’s goal.
“I think he misjudged the situation and he was heavily disturbed from the lights so he did not see the ball in the end.
“But it takes a lot of courage and personality to not be affected during the match, to have the courage to take the penalty for the equaliser in a crucial moment.
“I’m very happy that he did it.”
