“I’ve been really impressed” – Potter OFFICIALLY admits possible Chelsea signing ‘will perform in the Premier League’
Graham Potter, the new manager of Chelsea, has expressed his appreciation for Rafael Leo of AC Milan.
Leao has emerged as one of the most sought-after young forwards in the game after helping AC Milan win the Seria A title last season, with clubs like Liverpool and Real Madrid also showing interest in a potential transfer.
If Milan had not demanded that clubs pay his £127 million asking price before they do any business, he most likely would have left during the summer transfer window, but they now intend to keep the young man.
Chelsea FC has expressed a lot of interest in Rafael Leao, but AC Milan is sure that they can sign the midfielder to a longer contract and has already started talks.
Leao has expressed a desire to stay at Milan, according to manager Paolo Maldini, but if a deal cannot be reached, it is believed that only bids exceeding €100 million will be taken into consideration for the 23-year-old.
Potter has opened up on the gifted star and stated that he was confident that Leão will perform in the Premier League if he ever makes the move to England.
Graham Potter on Rafael Leão: “I’ve been really impressed with Rafa Leão whenever I’ve watched Milan games, he’s a top player”.
“In terms of what happens in the future, who knows whether he can do this in Premier League or not.
