John Terry still can’t believe what happened during Chelsea’s win over Tottenham last night

Chelsea legend John Terry was left in disbelief at what he saw during the first half of the Blues’ win over Tottenham.

He took to Twitter to show his distaste at the decision made to not originally send Cristian Romero off following his kick out on Levi Colwill in his own half.

An absolutely mental London derby eventually saw the Blues run out 4-1 winners, however the scoreline hardly tells half of the story.

Chelsea were playing against ten men for an hour, while also facing nine men for nearly all of the second half.

They really struggled to break down a resilient Spurs side, who tried to defend high and catch the Blues offside.

Eventually, Nicolas Jackson added to Cole Palmer’s first half penalty with a quick-fire hat-trick, putting the game beyond doubt and the hosts out of their misery.

Terry calls decision a disgrace

While Romero was actually sent off in the first half, he very well could have ended up being sent off minutes earlier after kicking out on Colwill.

Terry was quick to take to Twitter to show his feelings on the decision, branding it a disgrace.

He said: “How is that not a Red Card ? Wow, That’s a disgrace, you can’t just kick someone!”

Chelsea did eventually come away with all three points, although the story of the game will take days to get over.

Mauricio Pochettino will now look to put the pieces together before another huge Premier League game, when they face Manchester City.
