Jorginho sends message to Chelsea fans, as Bayern announcement opens door for Chelsea to wrap up deal for 30goals player
Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has pledged his long-term future to Chelsea by declaring he feels ‘at home’ at Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder insists the Blues are only getting started under German tactician Thomas Tuchel with Chelsea set to face Leicester and Man City in FA Cup and Champions League finals.
“Of course, of course I do feel settled,” Jorginho told the PA news agency. “When I came here, everything was different. But I felt welcome straight away.
“It feels great after three years, and I know everyone here appreciates what I try to do for the club and for the people. So it feels like home now in England.
“It’s definitely not the time to think about contracts with two finals to play! How could I want to leave the club? That’s not the point. It’s not the point even talking about it now.
“I’ve got two more years and like I said, I really feel at home here. So there’s no point actually even talking about it. And we have only just started under Thomas – we’ve got a lot more to do here.”
Bayern announcement opens door for Chelsea to wrap up deal for one of games best
Erling Haaland moving to Bayern Munich is “unimaginable” at this time, according to the club’s future CEO Oliver Kahn, giving Chelsea a massive transfer boost.
Haaland is easily regarded as one of the most deadly and exciting attackers in world football right now and he is heavily tipped to leave Dortmund at the end of the season and a make a move to one of the big clubs.
Chelsea are a club that are in need of adding a new striker to the squad in the summer, as Thomas Tuchel knows that he needs to add a 30-goal hitman to win back that Premier League title.
Bayern are among those being linked with a swoop for the Norwegian, and they are one of the favourites to get a deal done, but Kahn claims that they won’t be able to match his price tag in the current financial climate.
“Sorry, whoever spoke about that didn’t understand the situation,” the Bayern director, who will succeed Karl-Heinz Rummenigge as CEO later this year, told Bild.
“A package that costs – as we heard – over €100m is unimaginable for FC Bayern at the moment.”

Haaland is a top-class striker that should be at one of the biggest clubs, so the news that Bayern are pulling out the chase for the man will hand Chelsea a massive transfer boost.
He is just the type of player that Tuchel needs in the side, and they certainly have the money to pay his massive asking price and give him that £300,000-a-week wages that he reportedly wants.
