According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen to spend big once again, despite splashing the cash in the summer.
The Blues spent over £200million during the summer transfer window, signing Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz and Edouard Mendy. Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr joined on free transfers.
According to Romano, Abramovich has told the Chelsea board that he is willing to spend big again if the football world returns to some normality following the Covid-19 situation.
